A Journey Through Every Challenge of This Year

We are very close to finishing 2022 and welcoming a new year, and as always, this is a great opportunity to look back on everything we experienced during these 365 days that are coming to an end. Planning new goals, feeling proud of every achievement, and being grateful for every lesson learned are all part of this season, which arrives with a unique mix of joy, nostalgia, and hope. We will take a journey through each challenge of this year.

For us, as a company, 2022 was a year full of challenges, lessons, and accomplishments. We are proud to know that we overcame every challenge through teamwork, that the lessons learned allowed us to improve each of our services, and that our achievements helped us value even more the human team that makes up this family—a team that works every day to provide high-quality service and to surpass goals that sometimes seem impossible.

We have taken the time to review everything we experienced this year and realized that 2022 left a profound mark on our nearly 65 years of history.

Today, we want to remember these chapters with you!

In January, we had a demanding goal—one that sometimes felt close and on many other days felt far away. Even so, we didn’t stop; we continued striving to give our best. And guess what? We achieved it! We managed to administer more than 4,000 properties and serve more than 4,000 clients who entrusted their dreams to us—something that will continue to fill our hearts with joy over time.

We also worked tirelessly to help many people find their special place in the Aburrá Valley. Compared to 2021, we helped 14.44% of entrepreneurs find a commercial space for rent in Envigado or other areas of the city; we gave 165% of challengers the opportunity to see their dreams grow in an office for rent in Sabaneta or a warehouse for rent in Medellín; and we supported 78.57% of families in finding a house for rent in Laureles or elsewhere—a house that became their ideal home.

And of course, we must mention the historic sales record we achieved—proof of a passionate team that connects places with people who have fulfilled a great dream, and we have been accomplices in every one of them.

It is also a dream for any company to reach new places, and we achieved that by expanding into one of the fastest-growing areas in Antioquia: Eastern Antioquia. We are now providing property sales and rental services there. This has allowed us to grow, explore new areas, and above all, challenge ourselves to reach the hearts of the people who live in this region.

Then, after dreaming about it for a long time, we made it a reality: the creation and launch of our SER Employees’ Fund, an opportunity designed to help all members of this Alberto Álvarez family achieve their dreams.
